LoRose Moore, President, MMNSF Board of Directors

LoRose Moore is Vice President Community Development Manager for MS for Regions Bank. This year she celebrates 20 years in banking. Region’s mission is to make life better, improve and make positive difference in the communities where we work and live. As the Community Development Manager, LoRose’s responsibility is to oversee the bank’s community engagement in Mississippi. She works with the bank’s market leaders, state-wide community partners and validates all activities done to support low-and-moderate income individuals throughout the state.

Having grown up in a small rural community in Holmes County, her true passion is for community. She is active in giving her time and talent to those who can most benefit, especially matters affecting women and children.

Her involvement and volunteer work over the years include service on the following boards: Board Chair of the Woman’s Foundation of MS, The United Way of the Capitol Area Impact Chair, Board President Jackson Chapter of Executive Women International, Distinguished Young Women of Madison and Hinds County Advisory Board, Mississippi Housing Partnership Fundraising committee, Jobs for Mississippi Graduates, Alcorn State University Women’s Business Center Advisory Board and Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation Board Chair.

Her awards and recognitions include 2003-2004 class of Leadership Jackson, Girl Scouts 2015 Women of Distinction and Mississippi’s Business Journal’s 2016 50 Leading Business Woman of the Year Finalist.

LoRose’s commitment to improving the quality of life in our community is unwavering. She whole heartedly believes that to whom much is given, much is also required. If asked she would say her personality and commitment is that of a country girl with values instilled at an early age to always share her blessings and talents with others. She puts this to work through her faith, passion, and commitment to those she feels called to serve.

She is a graduate of Mississippi State University and is married to Reverand Ronald K. Moore. Together they have a blended family of four children. She is a member of the Madison County Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and is an active member of the Stronger Hope Baptist Church.
