LEFLEUR'S BLUFF EDUCATION & TOURISM COMPLEX

Enjoy recreational and educational activities at this award-winning, accessible attraction.

After your Museum visit, take Spotter’s Adventure Trail (paved, walking trail) to the state-of-the-art LeFleur’s Bluff Playground, Spotter’s Snack Shack, and The Den (an outdoor pavilion)!

Playground

The 21st-century, 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art playground is separated into different play areas based on age, for children ages 6 months to 12 years old featuring 80 play activities, 73 of which are inclusive to children with accessibility needs.

All structures on the playground promote physical activities - from providing greater freedom to run, jump, and climb, to supporting reduced stress levels.

Shade structures cover 75 percent of the playground: making the area below up to 30 degrees cooler for year-round outdoor play.

Spotter’s Adventure Trail & Snack Shack

The 8-foot-wide, paved Spotter’s Adventure Trail features a fun and interactive outdoor experience with Spotter the Otter and friends.

After working up an appetite from playing, visit Spotter’s Snack Shack for cool drinks and delicious treats.

The Den
