“The support of sponsors such as Nissan, Regions Bank, Gertrude C. Ford Foundation, and Ergon is what enables the Museum to bring unique and entertaining exhibits to the capital city for the benefit of Mississippi’s citizens and students while enhancing Jackson’s tourism product.”

Thanks to the generous support of Nissan North America, Inc., Regions Bank, the Gertrude C. Ford Foundation, and Ergon, Inc., the MMNS Foundation helped bring the largest and most comprehensive traveling exhibition ever created on the history and biology of dogs to the Southeast’s Best Attraction: the MDWFP Museum of Natural Science!

We launched the exhibit on May 29th with our two-legged and four-legged friends, a picnic, and demonstrations by the Jackson Obedience Training Club.

The exhibit runs through January 3, 2016 with several special events planned at the Museum throughout the year, such as “Second Saturday Canine Creature Features” and “Museum Mutts: A Celebration of All Things Dog”.

“Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs” was created by Wonderworks Exhibits Company and is sponsored locally by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation, Nissan North America, Inc., Regions Bank, Gertrude C. Ford Foundation, Ergon, Inc., and other generous supporters.

The Museum is the 2014-2015 Escape to the Southeast Travel Attraction of the Year.
