SEPTEMBER 29, 2018 – DECEMBER 31, 2018
In the Dark Exhibit

In the dark layers beneath the soil, under the sea, or in the shadows of night, unseen worlds teeming with life are illuminated in this enlightening exhibition. Crawl inside a giant bat head, experience life as a termite, and explore the worlds of bobcats, skunks, and cicadas. Plus, learn how birds find their way flying at night, how bats use echo-location, and how some species have adapted to life in the dark! Free for Members.

“In the Dark” is a traveling exhibit organized by the Cincinnati Museum Center. The exhibit is sponsored locally by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation, Regions Bank, and the H.F. McCarty, Jr. Family Foundation.
